J.W. Woods, 53, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Saturday, November 15, 2003.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, November 17, 2003, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Hubbard and Rev. Steve Hood officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 Sunday evening..
Mr. Woods was born November 24, 1949, to the late G.B. Woods and Clara Barnes Woods. He was a self-employed licensed electrician. Mr. Woods was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Fitzgerald, a former resident of Enigma, Georgia, and an avid fisherman.
Mr. Woods is survived by three sisters: Mary Benton, Quitman, GA; Ann Wynn, Fitzgerald; Wynell Robinson, Lakeland, GA; several nieces and nephews.
