Larry G. Fussell, 53, of Coffee County, Georgia, died Saturday, November 15, 2003, at his home.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 P.M. Monday, November 17, 2003, at Union Primitive Baptist Church, Coffee County near Lax with Elder Philip Smith and Elder Dale Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 P.M., Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Fussell was born May 6, 1950, in Coffee County, Georgia, to Oveda Harper Fussell and the late Joel William Fussell. He was a Maintenance Technician having worked with Shaw, formerly Modern Fibers, for 20 years. He was a 1969 graduate of Coffee County High School and had lived in Fitzgerald for 26 years before returning to Coffee County. Mr. Fussell was a member of Union Primitive Baptist Church, Coffee County.
Mr. Fussell is survived by: 2 daughters - Marlena Jernigan and Sherry McMorrow, both of Fitzgerald; Mother - Oveda H. Fussell, Coffee County near Lax; Brother - Travis Fussell, Fitzgerald; Sister - Janice Hattaway, Coffee County near Lax; and 3 Grandchildren.
