Stephen F. Maloney, 52, of Salem , NH , passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at the Holy Family Hospital following a sudden heart attack.
Stephen was born in Methuen and raised and educated in Salem , NH . He was a 1975 graduate of Salem High School . After high school Stephen joined the US Marines where he served during the Vietnam Era. Following his service, Stephen graduated from Franklin Pierce College . He was employed with Digital for 18 years and most recently with Celestica for the past 15 years. Stephen enjoyed horse racing, poker, gambling and playing golf in his free time.
He leaves his loving wife Patricia (Benjamin) Maloney, of Salem, NH, his children, Adam Maloney of Manchester, NH, Leanne Maloney and her fiancé, Kris Alexa of Salem, NH and Andrew Maloney of Salem, NH, a granddaughter, Noa Mash of Salem, NH, a brother David Maloney of Salem, NH, a sister, Christine Maloney of Plaistow, NH, a niece, Jocilyn Maloney of Salem, NH and many dear friends.
Friends are invited to call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 23rd at the Goundrey and Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main Street , Salem , NH . A Funeral Mass in his honor will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph ’s Church, Salem . Burial is to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Salem . Donations in Stephen’s memory may be made to the Salem Food Pantry, 287 Lawrence Road , Salem , NH 03079 .
