Pamela Kae Palmer, 59 years, of Stoughton formerly of Michigan died Sunday, July 18, 2010 at the Stanley R. Tippett Home (hospice) in Needham. She was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of the late Hamilton C. and Katherine M. (Lawrence) Palmer. Pamela had been a resident of Stoughton for the past 25 years. She attended the University of Michigan where she received her BSN in Nursing and also attended and received her Master’s in Nursing from Boston College. Pamela was a registered nurse working for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center for 30 years and was a great teacher and mentor to her fellow nurses. She enjoyed antiquing, needlework, gardening and loved to keep up with news and discuss it over breakfast with friends; but what she loved the most were her animals.
She is survived by two cousins, Diane Baker of AR and Nancy Zizunas of WV, close friends Bonnie Austin of Bridgewater, Margaret Burke of Walpole, loving friends from the BIDMC, her two dogs, Tizzy and Pheobe, and Curry, the cat.
