WORCESTER-Beverly A. (Price) DeLuca, 84, of Worcester, passed away Saturday, July 17th in St. Mary’s Healthcare Center after a 20 year battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Her husband of 48 years, Peter P. DeLuca, died in 1996. She leaves two sons, Mark L. DeLuca and his wife Carolyn of Worcester and Peter A. DeLuca and his wife Deborah of Leicester; a daughter, Cynthia L. Cartier and her husband Edward of Webster; nine grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. Her sister, Lorraine Thurlow, predeceased her.
Mrs. DeLuca was born in Worcester, the daughter of Walter and Alice (Boisvert) Price. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church and a former member of the Worcester County Light Opera. Mrs. DeLuca enjoyed crafts, knitting, crocheting and collecting antiques.
The funeral is Friday, July 23rd with a service at 11:00 AM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday, July 22nd from 6:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
