Robert M. Callaway Jr., 79 of Salem, NH, died Saturday, November 15, 2003 in Parkland Medical Center in Derry. Mr. Callaway was born in Chauncey, WV on November 25, 1923, a son of the late Robert M. and Carrie J. (Dalton) Callaway Sr. He was a resident of Salem for the past three years, formerly living in Laurel, MD. Mr. Callaway was a US Army WWII veteran. He was employed as a Salesman for State Farm Insurance.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Callaway of Salem, NH, one daughter, Sherry A. Darois and her husband Ron of Salem, NH, one son, Michael R. Callaway of Annapolis, MD.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 24, 2003 at 10:00AM in the Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD. Arrangements in Maryland will be handled by Gasch's Funeral Home, Hyattsville, MD.
