Groveland: Beverly K. (Moore) Parker, 74, died Monday, August 10, 2009 in the Merrimack Valley Hospital. She was the wife of William L. Parker.
Born in Georgetown on October 19, 1934 she was the daughter of the late Leon and Marion
(Woodward) Moore. She was raised in Georgetown and was a graduate of the former Perley High School. Beverly and William were married on May 29, 1955.
As a family they all enjoyed traveling together to some of their favorite vacation spots in Maine, New Hampshire and New York. She also enjoyed doing word search puzzles and playing board games as a family. But above all she loved to be with her family and friends.
In addition to her husband of fifty-four years, she is survived by two daughters, Paula M. Parker of Groveland and Linda L. Boussu of Kingston, NH, two sons, William L. Parker, Jr. of Dracut and John P. Parker of Groveland, four grandchildren, Kristin Boussu of Brattleboro, VT, Andrew Boussu of Kingston, NH, Brianne Parker of Houston, TX, and Justin Parker of Dracut, a great-granddaughter, baby Emily and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by a brother, Ronald Moore and two sisters, Lorraine Hartung and Elaine Bullock.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday in the Linnehan-Grondin Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Avenue, Haverhill at 10:00 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Interment will be held in the Riverview Cemetery, Groveland.
