Serratore, Jeannete M. (Bodanowic), age 80, of Haverhill, died Thursday, January 24, at The Oxford, Haverhill.
Mrs. Serratore was born in Champlain, New York, on March 26, 1927, the daughter of the late John and Clara (Tremblay) Bodanowic. She was educated in the Plattsburg, NY schools and was a graduate of Plattsburg, NY High School. She had been a resident of Haverhill since 1943 and previously resided in Plattsburgh, NY.
Until her retirement she had been employed in Haverhill shoe manufacturing firms. She was a member of St. James Parish, Haverhill.
She is survived by her two sons, Gary M. Ventura, Sr. and his wife Deborah of Sandown, NH and John S. Ventura of Las Vegas, NV; her four grandsons, Shawn Ventura of Canton, GA, Jason Ventura of Miami, FL, Gary M. Ventura of East Hampstead, NH, and Brian S. Ventura of East Hampstead, NH; her two sisters, Barbara Bogannan of Concord, NH and Beatrice Giamo of Salem, NH; five great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held in the C. Frank Linnehan & Son Haverhill Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Avenue, Haverhill, Friday, February 1, at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, North Broadway, Haverhill. Visitation Friday morning 10:30-11:30 a.m. Contributions in Jeannette's memory in lieu of flowers may be made to the Activities Fund, The Oxford, 689 Main Street, Haverhill, MA 01830.
