Denoncourt, Louis F., age 81 of Haverhill, died Sunday evening, February 3, 2008 at Merrimack Valley Hospital, Haverhill.
Mr. Denoncourt was born in Chicopee on August 24, 1926, the son of the late Joseph and Marie (Petrin) Denoncourt. He was educated in the Chicopee schools.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy. Until his retirement in 1988 he had been employed with the PUMA Corp., Plaistow, NH as a union carpenter. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Parish, Haverhill.
He was the husband of the late Anna S. (Saulen) Denoncourt, who died September 15, 2005. He is survived by his two daughters, Patricia A. Juranovits and her husband Thomas Z. of Salem, N.H. and Janice M. Richard and her husband Salvatore O. of Weare, N.H.; his four sons, Jeffrey P. Denoncourt and his wife Linda M. of Andover, Stephen Denoncourt of Haverhill, Mark L. Denoncourt and his wife Margaret L. of Plaistow, N.H., and Eric J. Denoncourt of Clinton; his sister, Victoria D. Baron of Eastham; and 10 grandchildren.
The Funeral will be held Thursday, February 7 at 9:00 a.m. from the C. Frank Linnehan & Son Haverhill Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Avenue, Haverhill, followed by a Funeral Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, 114 Lincoln Avenue, Haverhill. Interment in Linwood Cemetery, Mill Street, Haverhill.
