TEWKSBURY - Christopher J. Wagner, age 36, a former resident of Reading, died peacefully,Friday evening, Nov. 14th at his Tewksbury home, following an 11 month battle with cancer. Hewas the husband of Michelle (Cascio) Wagner, with whom he had celebrated a 6th weddinganniversary this past June 1st.

He was born in Groton, CT, May 19, 1967, a son of Nancy (Szeluga) Wagner and Ret. Lt. Com.Dennis Wagner, U.S.N. who reside in Amesbury. Although he moved about the country in hisyouth while his father was attached with the Navy, he resided most of his life in Reading, Mass. He graduated from Reading High School in 1985.

He was employed as an audio visual technician by Audio-Visual Designs company in Newton,Mass.

He was an active member of the Billerica Rod and Gun Club, and a member of St. William’sParish.

Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by a son, Matthew R. Wagner, age 4; a brother andsister-in-law, Jeffrey and his wife Jean Wagner of Hudson, MA; a sister and brother-in-law, Loriand her husband Scott Neff of MN; a mother and father-in-law, Marilyn (Biase) and RobertCascio of Tewksbury.

His Funeral Mass was held Wednesday, Nov. 19, in St. William’s Church. Interment was in Tewksbury Cemetery.

Inlieu of flowers, memorials to the Merrimack Valley V.N.A. Hospice, 360 Merrimack St., Bldg. 9,Lawrence, MA 01843, will be appreciated.
