Eva (Rapoza) Medeiros-Alexander, age 91 of Fall River passed away July 18, 2010. Widow of Agna “Gil” Medeiros and Manuel F. Alexander. She was daughter of the late Joseph and Alexandrina (Cordeiro) Rapoza. Born in Fall River, she was a retired presser in the local needle industry.
She is survived by 6 children: Manuel Alexander of Westport, John Alexander, Eileen Desmaris, Colette Souza & Kathleen Pacheco, all of Fall River & Susan Alexander of Swansea; 1 sister: Mary Araujo of Somerset; 17 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. She was sister of the late Joseph Viveiros, John Rapoza, Manuel Viveiros and Sarah Pereira.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St. Thursday at 8 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church at 9 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday 4-8 P.M.
