CATHERINE KAPITAN LONG, of Slidell, LA on Friday, July 16, 2010. Beloved Wife of the late Judge William F. Long, Jr. Mother of William Jeffrey Long, M.D. and his wife Margaret and Christopher Francis Long and his wife Jane. Sister of the late Jan Kapitan and Peter Kapitan. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, William Jeffrey Long Jr., Max Long, Megan Long, Sarah Long, Christine Long. A native of Fall River MA. She was a retired legal secretary.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, MA Thursday at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Name Church, Hanover St., Fall River at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Office of Development at St. Anne’s Hospital 795 Middle St., Fall River, MA 02721-9960
