Denise B. (Poulin) Littlefield 81, of Dennisport, and a former longtime Franklin resident, died peacefully Thursday July 15, 2010 at the Forge Hill Assisted Living Center in Franklin. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Littlefield, who died on Sunday July 11, 2010.
Born in Lowell, July 20, 1928 a daughter of the late Joseph and Cecile (Ferron) Poulin she was raised in Lowell, and was a 1945 graduate of Lawrence High School. She retired from the former Corning Medical Company in Medfield, where she worked for many years as a controller.
She loved gardening, and travel, and time spent with family at the Cape.
She is survived by 5 sons; James Mullen and his wife Blanche of Emporia, VA, Brian Mullen of Franklin, Bruce Mullen and his wife Eva of Franklin, Brent Littlefield and his wife Bonnie of Concord, NH, Brian Littlefield and his wife Kelly of Barre, VT, 4 daughters; Sharon Simone and her husband Bill of Methuen, Kathy Mullen of Boston, Lisa Vicario of Bellingham, Laurie Holmes and her husband Barry of North Grafton, 2 brothers; Maurice Poulin of Nahant, Gerry Poulin of Concord, NH, 3 sisters, Bunny Gallant of Largo, FL, Arleen Poulin of Nashua, NH, Pauline Mahoney of Chatham, 20 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Joseph Poulin and Jacqueline Taylor.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Tuesday July 20th, at 7:00PM in the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, www.franklinfuneral.com.
Interment will take place at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne on Friday.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 5-7PM.
