Obituary

BEAMAN - Linda Farmer Beaman, 64, passed away early Friday morning, July 16, 2010 at her Woodville, AL residence. She was born January 20, 1946 in Jacksonville, FL and made her home in Woodville for the past 30 years. Mrs. Beaman was a substitute teacher and loved teaching kids. She also enjoyed sewing and gardening. Her faith in God and love for her family will be her legacy. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles Farmer and Evelyn Sloan. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Robert J. Beaman, of Woodville, AL; two sons, Robert J. Beaman, II of Las Vegas, NV and John Paul Beaman of New York; four sisters and brothers in law, Bobbie and Dr. Terry Gore of Jacksonville, FL, Sue and Rick Messer, also of Jacksonville, Charlene and Bryan Clift of Yulee, FL, and Joan and David Finnell of Atlanta, GA; her mother in law, Thelma Beaman of Albany, GA, eight grandchildren and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m.Tuesday, July 20, in the Stephens Chapel at Green Pine Funeral Home in Yulee, FL with Dr. Terry Gore officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Jacksonville National Cemetery.
