Pansy Viola Lynch Saxton, age 72, of Water Valley, MS died Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis, TN. She was born in Crystal Springs, MS to Dewitt Lynch and Fannie Sandifer Lynch Woods. Mrs. Saxton was self-employed. She loved to quilt and enjoyed making quilts for family members and for special occasions. She was a member of First Christian Church and Cornerstone.
The visitation will be from 1PM until service time on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. Funeral services will be held in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks at 3 PM with Bro. R. W. Moffett officiating. Burial will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley, MS with David Saxton and Bobby Headrick serving as pallbearers.
Mrs. Saxton is survived by her husband, Dewey Saxton of Water Valley, MS; two daughters, Clara McCoy of Jackson, MS and Julia McCoy of Water Valley, MS; one step-daughter, Sharon Saxton of Jackson, MS; two sons, Alex McCoy of Batesville, MS and Archie McCoy of Water Valley, MS; four step-sons, Mike Saxton, Cecil Saxton, Charles Saxton and Jerry Saxton all of Jackson, MS; two sisters, Lillie Grogan of Broomfield, CO,and Mary Storie of Thornton, CO; seventeen grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
