New Bedford - Dorothy P. (Correia) Faria of New Bedford, died Friday November 14, 2003 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the widow of Joseph N. Faria. She is survived by her son Robert A. Faria of New Bedford, 2 grandsons Robert A. Faria Jr. of Fairhaven and Derek J. Faria of New Bedford and a great granddaughter Caelyn Faria of New Bedford.
Mrs. Faria was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all of her life. She worked at Tichon Seafood as a fish cutter & weigher. Mrs.Faria liked dancing, cooking, Frank Sinatra and collecting elephants.
The funeral will be Monday, November 17, 2003 from Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 9:30 A.M. with services begining at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, New Bedford, Ma. Calling hours are Sunday November 16th from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
