Mrs. Mary Rizzo, age 92, passed away Tuesday, November 11th, following a lengthy illness. Born in Swampscott she was the daughter of the late Rosa (Corsa) and Ralph Dagnese. She was a Medford resident for twelve years. Mrs. Rizzo was a retired dress maker. She worked in Boston for many years and was a member of the ILGWU local 80.
Mrs. Rizzo is survived by her husband Benigno, and thier children, Carol DuMont and her husband Roland of Lynn, Vincent Rizzo and his wife Lynette of Plastow, NH. Mrs. Rizzo was the loving grandmother of Marc Rizzo, Tracy Chafe, Michelle Clopper and the late Vincent Rizzo Jr.. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, Monday at 10 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church 118 High St. Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 2 thru 6. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Boston.
