Bristol, RI … Joseph Glewski, 84, of Tiverton died, Friday, May 28, 2010. He died at Silver Creek Manor in Bristol, RI.
He was born in Fall River a son of the late Peter and Angela (Jaworek) Glewski and had lived in the Fall River and Tiverton area all of his life.
He was the husband of the late Louise (Kulpa) Glewski.
Mr. Glewski was a member of Holy Ghost Church in Tiverton, Portsmouth Multi Purpose Senior Center, was an honorary member of the Tiverton Rod & Gun Club and also served in the United States Navy during W.W.II.
He was a Pest Control Operator for Griggs & Brown Pest Control before retiring after 30 years of service.
Survivors include his companion Joan A. DeNardo of Tiverton, RI, a daughter, Marcia Walsh of Portsmouth, RI, a son, Peter Glewski of Little Compton, RI, 2 grandchildren, Amanda Kenney and Staci Glewski, and a great-grandson, Philip Kenney IV. He was the Brother of the late Sophie Witkowski and Stella Bolcon.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday at 8PM at the BOYKO MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 709 Broadway, Fall River. Calling hours Tuesday 6 – 8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent in his memory to the Children’s Emergency Clothing Fund c/o St. Vincent’s Home 2425 Highland Ave., Fall River, MA 02720.
