Dore of Dorchester. Brother in law of the late Paul L. Dore and Richard W. McGann. Uncle of Sean P. Dore & his wife Mary of Braintree, Karen McGann-Lucas & her husband John of DE, Annmarie McGann of Lexington & her close friend Henry Vozzella of Sharon, and Richard D. McGann & his close friend Carrie Kenny of DE. Grand uncle of Elizabeth and Samantha Dore of Braintree.
Fr. Davis will lie in state on Monday in St. Ann's Church, NEPONSET, from 4-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Fr. Davis was ordained from the class of 1949, Marist College & Seminary. He went on to serve at Immaculate Conception, Westerly, RI, St. Edwards, Stafford Springs, CT, and St. Patrick's Cathedral, Norwich, CT. Pastor of St. Columba, Columbia, CT, St. Michael's, Pawcatuck. CT, and St. Mary's, Stonington, CT.
