Kathryn Rosenbaum Smith, 99, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2010, at Britthaven of South Louisville.
Kathryn touched the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her family and friends will remember her love, sweetness, guidance, sense of humor, and strong Christian faith.
Kathryn owned and operated the Figurama Beauty Salon on Kingston Ave. off Third Street. She was a lifetime member of the O.E.S 154-Southern Star.
Born in New Albany, Kathryn married Bill Rosenbaum, and had two sons, Bill Jr. and Kenneth. Kathryn later married Stanley Smith.
She is preceeded in death by her first son, Billy.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth; her daughter-in-law, Tina Rosenbaum; and her grandchildren, Craig (Ginny) Rosenbaum, Sandi Rosenbaum, Sabrina (John) Hackett and Kathryn Rosenbaum, as well as 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
The funeral service and burial will be private. Visitation will be Wednesday 2-8 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Victory Memorial Baptist Church where Kathryn was a member since 1920.
