METHUEN – Dorothy C. (Bourgeois) Morgan 89 life long Methuen resident died Saturday July 10, 2010 at the Fairview Nursing Home in Hudson, NH.
Born and educated in Methuen, she was the daughter of Telesphore and Gladys (Carpenter) Bourgeois, she was a graduate of the Edward F. Searles High School with the Class of 1938. For 25 years she was employed at ITT Semiconductors in Lawrence and was the plant manager’s secretary retiring in 1988.
Dorothy was pre-deceased by her husband Thomas A. Morgan who passed way in 1973 enjoying 30 years of marriage together.
In Dorothy’s early years she was a ballet dancer and later was a ballroom dancer at most of the local ballrooms which included the Commodore ballroom in Lowell and Mosley’s in the North shore. She was also involved with the Boy and Girl Scouts and was a troop leader. She was a life communicate at the Grace Episcopal Church in Lawrence. For 25 years she enjoyed camping at Northwood Lake in New Hampshire. She was involved in her son’s boat racing competitions. And was very active with her class reunions and also at the Methuen Senior Center. Enjoyed traveling.
She is survived by her daughter and son, Sheryl L. Morgan Morrison and her husband Alan of Hollis, NH, Thomas A. Morgan II of Billerica, MA
Grandmother to Tracy Morgan of Methuen and Michele Morgan of Lawrence, Shawn Morrison and his wife Andrea of Chester, NH.
Great-grandmother of Trevor and Nolan Morrison also of Chester, NH
Brother William Bourgeois and his wife Ann of Cary, NC.
Brother-in-law Harry (Bud) Morgan of Norfolk, VA.
Dorothy was the sister to the late Robert Bourgeois.
Many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Hone, Inc., 233 Lawrence St. Methuen, MA. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:00a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow in the Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
