Brother of Albert Sebastyn of Abington; Anna Watson of Plymouth and Sophia Pyszkaof Stowe, MA.
Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte123) Brockton Monday at 9 am. Funeral Mass in Holy Cross Church, So. Easton at 10 am. Entombment in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph. Obituary
Mr. Sebastyn died Wednesday evening at Easton Lincoln Nursing Home in Easton after a period of failing health. Since March he had been a resident of So. Easton, previously lived many years in Braintree. Born in Salem, son of the late Nicholas and Agnes (Kozlowski) Sebastinowicz. Raised in Dorchester and graduate of Boston English High School. During WW II he served in the US Army in the Pacific Theatre as a mechanic. He retired as a storekeeper for the Mass. Turnpike Authority in Weston. He previous worked for Standard Uniform Company in Dorchester. He also had been a route salesman for HP Hood and Happy Home Bakery. Member of VFW Post 1702 in Braintree. Former member of Polish White Eagles Club in Brockton. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and time spent with his grandchildren and he also liked to play pool with his grandchildren. When living in Braintree he was a Communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church.
Survived by a daughter, Donna Faradie and her husband Robert of So. Easton and a son John M. Sebastyn of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, four grandsons, Anthony, Joseph, Michael and Dana Faradie, a brother Albert Sebastyn of Abington and two sisters, Anna Watson of Plymouth and Sophia Pyszka of Stowe, MA and many nieces and nephews
