Henry `Gene` Cole, formerly of Bristol, TN, 82, Clarksville, died Thursday, July 8, 2010, at Spring Meadows Healthcare Center. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 17 in Bristol, TN. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born December 18, 1927 in Bristol, VA son of the late Dewey Cole and Mae Reedy Cole. He was a retired construction worker with McKinnon Bridge Company and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Widener Cole. Survivors include daughter, Penny Reynolds (Clint), Clarksville; brother, Don Cole (Peggy), Abingdon, VA; sister, Betty Crytzer (Don), Orlando, FL; and three grandchildren, Alex, Rachel, and Sarah Reynolds.
