ROCKPORT: Carolyn Edith (Breese) Muller, 73, died peacefully in her home surrounded by her children on July 5, 2010. She was the loving wife of the late Henry W. Muller.
Born in Boston on October 13, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Catherine (Ahokas) Breese of formerly of Quincy. She was a graduate of Boston University.
Carolyn had resided in Weston for many years where she raised her family, Susan Gagnon of Hopkinton, NH and David Jokinen of Midlothian, VA.
As social worker, her professional career entailed working with the elderly in the Boston area. She devoted countless hours on several passions including gardening and antiquing. She had also enjoyed extensive travel with her husband.
In addition to her children, she leaves four grandchildren; Nina and Isabel Gagnon of Hopkinton, NH and Matthew and Sam Henry Jokinen of Midlothian, VA.
Her family will hold a memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., Suite B-102, Danvers, MA 01923.
