Gary E. Hembree, 50, Clarksville, died Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at St Thomas Hospital, Nashville, TN. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Ben Reed officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from noon until 7:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service Saturday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born July 29, 1959 in Lansing, Michigan. He was the son of Catherine Hembree, Indian Mound, TN and the late Henry E. Hembree. He was a heavy equipment operator for the Bi-County Solid Waste Management. He coached Northwest Little League at Stokes Field for sixteen years and also coached many travel teams for Clarksville. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Waters Hembree; son, Brandon Paul Hembree, Clarksville; three brothers, Stan Hembree and Lonnie Hembree, both of Clarksville; and David Hembree (Robin), Michigan; three sisters, Denise Vance, and Connie Calhoun, both of Clarksville; and Kathy Pippin (Norman), Michigan; and one grandson, Jacob Paul Hembree. Pallbearers will be Keith Koski, Darren Koski, Rueben Koski, Patrick Brill, Kenny Webb, Dr. Michael West, Paul Mathis, and Ronnie Richardson.
