Lamadore, Donald, age 79, of Teaneck, died July 7, 2010. Donald lost his courageous 8 year battle with COPD/Emphysema. He died peacefully in his home. He fought a good fight and his will to live and love of his family kept him going. Don was a humble man with a sense of humor like no other. Wherever he went he had a joke and a smile for everyone. Don was well known throughout Bergen County as he was as self employed house painter (Color Harmony) who left his mark on many municipal buildings as well as many private homes. He was loved by everyone who came in contact with him. Don leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years, Ella Lamadore nee (Heisler), as well as three daughters, Madeline and Joe Brenner, Charlotte and Joe Ottilo. Donna Lamadore-Greenfield and Lawrence Vivian, He was predeceased by another daughter, Diane Burger. He also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews who will miss their Poppop and Uncle Donald terribly. Family and friends are invited to visit Saturday, July 10, 2010 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at the Volk Leber Funeral, 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ.
