Richard R. “Scotty” MacGregor age 80 of Plaistow, NH, passed away peacefully Tuesday at Wingate @ Haverhill Nursing Home in Haverhill, MA.
He was born in Melrose, MA, grew up and was educated in Nova Scotia, Canada. He was a resident of Plaistow for over 40 years, having lived in Wells, ME for 12 years.
Scotty was a retired machinist for Baileys Corporation in Seabrook, NH. He also worked for many years for Joe McKinnon’s International as a diesel mechanic. He was a US Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the Plaistow Fish & Game Club, the American Legion in Plaistow, and the Grange of So. Hampton, NH. He loved fishing, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and his dog.
He was predeceased by his parents James & Marion Galluzzo. He was also predeceased by his brother & sister James Galluzzo Jr. & Gloria Carrier.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years: Beverly (Moulen) MacGregor of Plaistow, NH

Calling hours will be held Friday, July 9 from 4-7 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH.
