Gary P. Robert, 54, of Manchester, died July 5, 2010 at his residence after a period of declining health.
He was born in Manchester, August 16, 1955 to Paul R. and Cleo B. (LaBelle) Robert and was a lifelong resident of this city. He was a graduate of Central High School.
Gary had been employed by GPD Optoelectronics Corp. for the past 10 years. He previously had worked for BKC Semiconductors in Lawrence, MA
He was a communicant of St. Pius X Church.
Gary’s family and home were the center of his life. He loved the simple pleasures of yard work and gardening. In addition to being an amateur inventor, he was an avid camper, boating enthusiast and snowmobiler. His energy was limitless and his devotion to his family unwavering. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Family members include his wife of 15 years, Patricia L. (O’Brien) Robert of Manchester; two children, Nicole M. Robert of Manchester and Jessica L. Robert of Nashua; two step children, James O’Dell and Stanley O’Dell, both of Manchester; one grandchild, Jyzeah Diaz; his mother, Cleo B. Robert of Manchester; two sisters, Brenda Goudreau of Milford and Paula James of Concord; a brother, Justin Robert of Raymond; nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday, July 9, 2010 at St. Pius X Church, 575 Candia Rd., Manchester.
Committal prayers followed in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
