TAUNTON – Brenda J. (Silvia) Massey, wife of the late Emile J. Massey, died at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston on July 2, 2010.
She was 69.
Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Alice (Gomes) Silvia.
Mrs. Massey was raised and educated in Taunton, and was a communicant of St. Anthony Church.
She leaves three sons, Robert P., Scott F. and Kevin J. Massey, all of Taunton; a daughter, Carol L. Massey of Taunton; a brother, Police Captain Michael J. Silvia of Taunton; and a granddaughter, Alyssa.
Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway on Thursday July 8th at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Anthony Church at 9 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday July 7th from 4 to 7 p.m.
