Belmont----Steven E. Hodge, 34, of 303 Durrell Mt. Road, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Wednesday, June 30, 2010.
Mr. Hodge was born September 10, 1975 in Concord, N.H., the son of Allyn N. and Janet E. (Parker) Hodge. He was raised in Allenstown and moved to the Lakes Region over twenty years ago. He was involved with the New Hampshire Easter Seals Program for most of his life. He loved to listen to music.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Allyn N. and Eileen Hodge, of Laconia; his mother, Janet Spence, of Wakefield, N.H.; his grandmothers, Jeanne Parker, of Ipswich, Mass and Myrtle Hodge of Center Ossipee; his caregivers, with whom he lived for the past twenty years. Lester and Rita Miller and their family; a brother, Seth Hodge, of Laconia; a sister and brother-in-law, Tracey A. and Richard Hall, of Scio, New York; a nephew, Dexter Huppe, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Calling Hour will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM on Thursday, July 8, 2010 in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM following the calling hour also at the Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the family lot in Chickville Cemetery, Ossipee, N.H.
