WEBSTER – Robert P. Morell, 68, of North Main St., died Friday, July 2, 2010 in UMass/Memorial Healthcare, Worcester.
He leaves his wife of 48 years, Dorothy E. (Chapdelaine) Morell; 2 daughters, Dianne D. Rossi and husband Michael of Barre and Donna M. Clark of Hubbardston; 5 grandchildren, Mickey and Jenna Rossi, Lindsay Clark and twin grandsons Eric and Brandon Clark; 2 brothers, Leo Morell of Willimantic, CT and Arthur Morell of California; 4 sisters, Esther St.Amant and his twin Pauline Morell, both of Danielson, CT, Jackie Siekierski of N. Grosvenordale, and Phyllis Tessier of Putnam, CT; nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his sister Irene Elliott of Pomfret.
He was born and raised in Putnam, a son of Leo and Stella (Lubecki) Morell, and lived in Webster and Dudley since his marriage in 1962.
Mr. Morell was a forklift operator at Johnson Corrugated, Inc. in Thompson for over 35 years, retiring in 2006.
He enjoyed going to Foxwoods. He donated his organs and tissues to help other people.
Calling hours will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, July 7, in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street. Donations in his name may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
