“Porkchop” Cross of Rebecca, Ga. died Saturday, July 3, 2010 at his residence in Rebecca from injuries sustained in an auto accident.
“Porkchop” was the faithful companion of Tony & Redith Cross and the mascot of Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn.
“Porkchop” was adopted by Tony & Redith five years ago and was a constant companion of his adoptive parents. He went to work with Tony every day and was a regular traveler going on vacation and to church every Sunday with Tony and Redith. “Porkchop” rode the backhoe when Tony worked in the cemetery and rode with Tony on Tony’s motorcycle and 4-wheeler.
“Porkchop” will be dearly missed by Tony, Redith, Lee, Tony Cross, Jr., his friend, “Stump” and the staff of Perry Funeral Chapel.
