DETROIT, MICHIGAN: Robert H. “Bob” Harloff, Jr. 46, formerly of Gloucester, died Sunday, June 27, 2010 due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
He had been a resident of Michigan for the past ten years.
Born in Gloucester on November 13, 1963, he was the son of Robert H. Harloff, Sr. and the late Mary Anne (Bolcome) Dulany. He had attended Gloucester public schools.
Bob was known to be a jack-of-all-trades, but his life’s passion was motorcycles.
He was a loyal member of the Violators Motorcycle Club in Detroit from 2000 until 2010. He had served as president of the organization from 2004 through 2008.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his son, Damien Robert Harloff, sisters, Lisa, wife of John Bertolino, Brenda, wife of Russell MacDougall, his stepfather, Randolph Dulany and stepsisters, Ann Dulany, Susie, wife of Ken Haswell, Mary Smith, aunts and uncles, Janet Thompson, Eleanor, wife of Andy Bertolino, Marty, husband of Cindy Bolcome, Chris, wife of Jerry Hammond, Robert Bolcome, Deanna Ouderkerken and Beverly Harloff. He also leaves nieces and nephews, Gary Lane, Kenneth Turner, Brittany Turner, Bob Turner, Bill Turner, Mike Turner, Danny Turner and Amanda Silva, as well as many grandnieces and grandnephews. He was also predeceased by his brother-in-law, William A. “Bill” Turner, Sr.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday morning, July 17th in the Pike-Grondin Funeral Home, 61 Middle Street, Gloucester at 9:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. There are no visiting hours.
