Obituary

Charles Murnaghan of Plymouth and formerly of Brighton passed away on June 30th. He was 77 years old. Charles lived in Plymouth the past 43 years and worked as a pipefitter at the Otis Air Force Base in Bourne before he retired. Charles was a member of the John Alden Sportsman Club in Manomet and the Bay Area Senior Cyclists. Charles was the loving husband of Phyllis (Elliott) Murnaghan of Plymouth. He was the father of Chuck and Jimmy Murnaghan, and Laura Richmond. Charles was the grandfather of Charles, Michael, Jamie, and Erin Murnaghan and Alex and Sarah Richmond. He is also survived by his great grandchildren Haley Rose, Charles, David, and Gage Murnaghan.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 6th at 10:00 AM at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd., Plymouth (Manomet). Visiting hours will be held on Monday, July 5th from 4:00–8:00 PM at Richard Davis Funeral Home, State Rd., Plymouth (Manomet). Burial will be at the National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to Plymouth South High School Boosters Club, Attn: Scott Fry, 490 Long Pond Rd., Plymouth, Ma 02360.
