Beloved sister of Sr. Jenne Marie Kienast, RSM and Sr. Therese Galligan, RSM both of Matthew, NC, Charles F. Kienast, III and his wife Lee of Kingston, NC and the late Marie Harang. Loving sister-in-law of Florence Martzinek of Flushing, NY. Dear friend of Patricia Taylor of Winthrop, Carol Johnson of Norwood, Julieanne Bovat of Malden and Vincent Tamussa, MD of Malden. Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews and a special thank you to the Finn family of Malden for their care and concern for Jean over the years. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Graveside Service on Tuesday, July 6th at Forestdale Cemetery, 150 Forest Street, Malden at 11 o'clock. Born in Santo Domingo City, Dominican Republic, Jean passed away at the Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center in Medford after a brief illness at the age of 88.
After her fathers military career, her family settled in Paris Island, South Carolina and at 18 years of age, her family moved to California. After her marriage to her husband Lawrence they moved to Malden. For over 30 years until her retirement, se worked for Royal Globe Insurance Company as an engineering secretary. If her spare time and in her retirement, she had a great love of animals and was an extremely avid reader.
