BELMONT
Marianne K. Ryan, 61, of 33 Circle Dr. died November 7, 2003 in her residence. She was born in Boston MA on July 4, 1942, the adopted daughter of John Paul and Anna Gertrude (Kennedy) Shaughnessy.
She was raised in Lynnfield MA and was a graduate of Lynnfield High School. Ms. Ryan was involved in law enforcement and earned a degree in criminal justice from Andover College.
She moved to Belmont in 1980 and has been employed by Delta Dental in Concord for the past ten years. She enjoyed playing Bingo and reading and was known as a lover of all small animals; including several stray cats she had taken in.
Family members include two daughters, Deborah Malone and her husband James of Gilmanton and Teresa Malone and her husband David Sr. of Belmont; six grandchildren, Jennifer Gray of Virginia, Senior Airman Clayton Gray of Hill AFB, Utah, Christina Gray of Layton Utah, David Malone Jr. of Belmont, Sean Malone of Belmont and Michael Malone of Belmont.
A memorial reception was held in the Simoneau & Lambert Funeral Home, 139 Church St., Laconia on Thursday from 6 to 8 PM. Private urn burial will be in Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody, MA at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the NH Humane Society, PO Box 572, Laconia NH 03247.
