SALEM - Stacia J. (Dzierzak) MacDonald, 89, of Salem, wife of the late John G. MacDonald, died at her home on Tuesday, June 29, 2010, surrounded by her family.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Josephine (Gawinda) Dzierzak. She was a graduate of Salem High School in the class of 1938 and was a lifelong Salem resident.
Stacia was employed at Sylvania prior to her marriage.
She was a devoted wife and mother whose life revolved around her home and family.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Pamela MacDonald of Middleton, two daughters and one son-in-law, Patricia M. MacDonald of Salem, Barbara and Robert Maunus of Danvers, 4 grandchildren, Heather MacDonald of Middleton, Shawn MacDonald and Elissa Maunus of Danvers, Jeremy Maunus of Cambridge, one great grandchild, Zachary MacDonald - Wolff of Middleton and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister, Alice S. Maga.
Her funeral service will be held Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 8 am from the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, followed by a funeral Mass at 9 am at the Immaculate Conception Church. Visiting hours are Friday, 4 to 8 pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial is in St. Mary Cemetery, Salem.
