Obituary

Louise A. (Landry) Candela, 71 of Sarasota, Florida and formerly of Franklin and Wrentham died June 28 in the Palmer Ranch Healthcare Center in Sarasota.
Born in Milford, March 2, 1939, the daughter of the late Francis and Alice (Pepin) Landry, Mrs. Candela had lived in Franklin and Wrentham for most of her life prior to moving to Sarasota last year.
She was a graduate of Franklin High School and Dean Jr. College; she had been the medical staff coordinator for Caritas Norwood Hospital for many years before retiring.
Louise had been an active volunteer in civic groups in Wrentham for many years. She loved gardening.
She is survived b her children, Robert L. Cochran of Greenbelt, Maryland, Stephen J. Cochran of Myakka City, Florida, Holly L. Anthony of Sarasota and Jeffrey F. Candela of Norfolk.
She is also survived by her brothers, Francis Landry of Brockton, Roland Landry of Brockton and her sister Constance Omdahl of Warren, Minnesota.
She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 7 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. in Franklin at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
