Devoted father of Shelley Connolly and her husband Thomas, Jill McIlroy and her dear friend Philip Moody all of Winthrop, and the late Michael Sweeney. Adored grandfather of Tucker and Corey Connolly and Caitlin and Dioan McIlroy. Cherished great-grandfather of Cambria McIlroy and Brandon Martinez. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP, on Weds, at 9am. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited.
