Verna M. (Gahafer) Gaus, 76, passed away Friday at her residence.
She was born in Louisville, KY to August & Alma (Bossle) Gahafer.
Verna was a retired Court Clerk for the State of Kentucky and was a member of St Paul's Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Brothers: Maurice & Danny, and Sisters: Libby & Norma.
Survivors include her Husband of 57 years, Kenneth Gaus; her Children: Paula Curl (Neil), Paul "Sam" Gaus (Melinda), Patrick M. Gaus (Donna), Toni Gaus, Kenny Joe Gaus (Joni), Terri Gaus, and Mark Gaus; 19 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. Brothers; David, Raymond, & Glen Gahafer, and a Sister: Cassie (Reif) Smith.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM Tuesday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 6901 Dixie Hwy., with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West.
Visitation will be 12 Noon - 9:00 PM Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.
