New Bedford-Genoveva Dos Santos age 52 years died unexpectedly Thursday June 24th at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the Antonio C. Dos Santos. She was the loving mother of Delita C. Dos Santos of New Bedford. Genoveva was the sister of Maria Fatima Carvalho of Westport, Natalia Brasil of São Miguel Açores, Lourdes Benjamin of Canada, Aida Alves and Margarita Constancia both of Fall River and Messias Camara of Dartmouth. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Dos Santos was the daughter of the late Manuel and Margarita (Amaral) Camara. She was born in São Miguel, Açores and moved here 34 years ago. Genoveva was a seamstress working with various clothing factories.
Mrs. Dos Santos Funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. on Tuesday at 8 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 A.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Monday 5 - 9 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
