Obituary

Salem, NH- Kay-Ellen (Marcello) Phaneuf, 54, died Thursday June 24th 2010 at Caritas Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on February 18, 1956 in Methuen, Kay-Ellen was the daughter of Eleanor (Martinage) and the late Carrol Marcello. She was educated in Methuen and a graduate of Tenney High School.
She had previously been employed as branch manager with Bank of America.

Mrs. Phaneuf was a communicant of St. Monica’s church and was very involved in Cancer Awareness for the Jimmy Fund. She loved sports, especially watching sports especially football. She enjoyed playing 45’s and spending time with her family. She enjoyed block parties on Charles St., and taking trips to Prince Edward Island. The proudest moment of her life was the day her first grandson was born. She loved her family, and spending time with them was her greatest joy.
Kay- Ellen will be deeply missed but never forgotten in the hearts of her husband of 30 years, Stephen P. Phaneuf, her children, Kimberly Carraher of Methuen, and Katelyn Phaneuf of Salem, NH, and her beloved grandson, Brayden Carraher. Along with her mother she is also survived by two brothers, Robert Marcello and his wife Donna of Seabrook, NH, and Dennis C. Marcello and his wife Karen of Salem, NH.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, June 29th, 2010 from 4-8 at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence, St, Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday at 11 AM at St. Monica’s Church in Methuen with burial to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Salem, NH.
