Obituary








Laconia-----Anne Heine, 83, of 292 Holman Street, died at home surrounded by her children on June 23, 2010.
She was born October 25, 1926 in the County of Lancaster, Northern England, daughter of Adam and Elizabeth Smith.
Anne was the beloved wife of the late G. Edmund Heine. She is survived by daughters, Valerie Heine, of Manhattan, N.Y. and Patricia Heine, of Marblehead, MA; son, Gregory Heine, and his wife, Mary; grandchildren, Lauren and Sarah Heine, of Concord, N.H. and siblings, Tom Smith, Kathleen Talbot and Peter Smith of Lancaster County, England and Sheila Hebein of Evanston, Illinois and brother-in-law, Martin Heine, and wife, Alvina. She served in the ATS in England during World War II, sailed to America in 1954 and settled in Manhattan where she met her future husband, Ed Heine. Anne and Ed moved to Holman Street, Laconia thirty-six years ago.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 28, 2010 at 11:00AM at St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia followed by a reception at the Laconia Public Library’s outdoor gardens.
Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Meredith Center, N.H.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, N. H. 03246.
