Beverly A. (McLaughlin) Silver, 68 of Bellingham died June 23 in her home.
Born in Bridgetown, Nova Scotia, the daughter of the late Joseph and Alta (Shute) McLaughlin, Mrs. Silver was a longtime Bellingham resident.
Beverly was professional silk presser, whose work was well known and sought out throughout the industry.
She had worked for many years at Skyway Cleaners in Westwood.
She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and most importantly being an integral part in the lives of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Darlene Silver of Belgrade, Maine, Charles of Decatur, Alabama, Charlene of Bellingham and Colleen of Blackstone.
She is also survived by her sister, Alice and her brother, Frank of Canada and William of Medway.
She is also survived by her grandchildren who knew her as “Nan”, Nicole, Michael, Jared, David, Garron, Charles, Krystal, Amber, John, Aidan and great-grandmother of Kayla.
She was also the lifelong friend and companion of Charles “Charlie” Berkeley.
Her funeral service will held on Friday, June 25 in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home 3 Barber St. in Medway at Noon.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Medway.
Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00 a.m. - Noon.
