Carton, Kathleen N. (McEachern), of Glendale, AZ, formerly of Winchester, Died peacefully in her sleep on May 10, 2010. She was 100 years old. Born in Canada on Oct. 3, 1909, Kay worked as a secretary at Hartnett Tanning Co. in Ayer, MA. After moving to Winchester she was employed at General Foods in Woburn as a secretary in the Purchasing Department. After retirement she lived in housing for the elderly in Winchester until 2007, when she went to live with her daughter in AZ. Kay is survived by her 4 children, Lawrence and his wife Kathryn of MA, Marie Tanner of AZ, Kathleen Connors of FL and Carol Labonte of TX. Also survived by 21 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 5 great- great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Kay was a communicant and a member of the Ladies Sodality at St. Mary’s Church, Winchester. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thurs., July 29 at 10AM in St. Mary’s Church, 155 Washington St., Winchester. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Interment will be private at Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester.
