Obituary

MARINO, Anthony- Of Malden, June 21st. Devoted husband of the late Georgia (LeFebure). Beloved father of Carol Durepos of New Mexico and Michael Marino and his wife Charlene of Medford. Dear brother of Annette Russell of Quincy. Lovingly survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Carroll Funeral Home, 721 Salem Street, (Maplewood Square) MALDEN on Wednesday, June 23rd at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 10 o'clock. Services will conclude with interment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden. Expressions of sympathy in Anthony's name may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202.
Born in Quincy and a resident of Malden since 1943, Anthony passed away at home Monday morning at the age of 95. For over 31 years until it's closing in 1973, Anthony worked as a rigger at the South Boston Navy Yard, and then continued his trade at the Munroe Ship Yard for 10 years until 1983. After retirement he spent his summers working for Holy Cross Cemetery as seasonal help doing grass cutting. He was a proud Navy veteran seeing action during the Korean Conflict.
