James R. Clark, 89, of Derry, NH, died Sunday, June 20, 2010 in the Parkland Medical Center in Derry. Mr. Clark was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 14, 1920, a son of James and Anna (Foley) Clark. He was a resident of Derry for the past six years, formerly living in E. Norwalk, CT. Mr. Clark was a US Air Force veteran serving during WWII. He had been employed as the International Vice President of Sales for Morgan and Brothers Manhattan Storage in New York City. Mr. Clark had been a member of the Greenwich Chamber of Commerce and the Greenwich Exchange Club.
He is survived by four sons, Guy R. Clark and wife Joan of Southington, CT, Thomas J. Clark and Bonnie of Worcester, MA, Jeffrey M. Clark and wife Karen of Derry, and Steven A. Clark and wife Denise of Naugatuck, CT; as well as twelve grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Ann G. (Kuehn) Clark in 2003.
Calling hours were held on Friday, June 25th from 5 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday, June 26th at 10:00 in the Holy Cross Church, 187 Hampstead Rd., Derry, followed by cremation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101.
