NATICK: Eleanor M. (Kelley) Richardson, 81, died on Friday, June 18, 2010 at Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham following a brief illness.
She was born in Brookline on June 8, 1929 the daughter of the late Walter F. Kelley and Esther M. (Field) Kelley.
Mrs. Richardson was the beloved mother of Wayne F. Richardson of Virginia Beach, VA; Craig E. Richardson and his wife Melinda of Reading; Jean M. Ahern and her husband Jack of Oxford and Scott T. Richardson of Marlborough. She was the loving grandmother of Michelle Richardson; Kevin Richardson and his wife Sarah; Shaun Ahern and his wife Cindy; Ryan Ahern; Matthew Richardson; Kendall Richardson and Kyle Richardson and great-grandmother of Ryan M. Richardson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the wife of the late Walter E. Richardson, Jr. who died in 2000.
Mrs. Richardson spent her formative years in Brookline and graduated with the Brookline High School Class of 1947. She was a resident of Natick for over 56 years. She had a long career as an Administrative Assistant with C. H. Babb Co. of Natick and retired from Pine Brook Country Club in 2002 as a Bookkeeper. She enjoyed playing cards and cribbage. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Visitations will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 from 4:00 to7:00 pm in the Bryant Memorial Chapel of the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Rte. 30), Cochituate.
Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at 9:00 am followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Zepherin Church, Route 27, Wayland.
Interment will follow in the Richardson family lot in Lakeview Cemetery in Cochituate.
