Gerardo Salvati, Sr., 65 of Medford, died Thursday unexpectedly in the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA.
Born in Italy he lived in Medford for the past 27 years and was the son of the late Margherita (Giordano) and Antonio Salvati. Gerry was a Building Manager for 50 years and worked at the Hoffman Building in Boston.
Beloved husband of Lucia (DeMarco) Salvati. Devoted father of Salvatore Salvati, Lisa Manganello both of Rowley, Joseph Salvati of Salisbury, and Gerry Salvati Jr. of Medford. Loving grandfather of Amanda, Jessica, Gianna, Julia, Marco and Ava. Brother of Lucy Pisaturo, Rita Petrelis, Anthony and Gino Salvati all of Peabody, and Joseph Salvati of Revere.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Tuesday at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 11:30 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
