Joseph A. Lombardi, Sr., 72, of Salem, NH went to be with his Lord on Fri. June 18th at his home, surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Joe was born and educated in Methuen, MA, the son of the late Anna (DeBella) and Joseph Lombardi. He served in the Army Reserves. He lived in Salem for 47 years. Joe was a retired Assistant Produce Manager for Stop & Shop and was also a custodian for the Salem School System.
Joe was a member of the Salem Senior Center and Centerpoint Community Church where he served as an usher and greeter. He loved the Lord and his church and helping out at Wednesday night church suppers and Bible studies. Joe loved his family and it was always God then family. He was a devoted husband and father and he loved everyone.
Joe umpired for St. Joseph School in Salem and the Salem girl’s softball leagues until last year. He loved playing cards, playing softball, fishing, hunting, golfing, bowling, the outdoors and music. Joe loved to eat.

Funeral services will be Tues. at 10:00 AM at Centerpoint Community Church, Salem, NH. Burial is in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem.
